Henan Qihong has 13 years of experience and technological expertise in the research of cubic boron nitride materials and holds multiple utility patents. The company currently possesses advanced equipment—including a six-sided diamond press, high-end CNC peripheral grinders, high-vacuum material processing furnaces, laser engraving machines, vacuum brazing systems, high-precision double-sided grinding machines, and high-end testing instruments—used for the processing, R&D, and production of both materials and finished products.

Cost Analysis of Using Cubic Boron Nitride Blades
(1) High cutting speeds: When machining hard cast iron with cubic boron nitride blades, significantly higher cutting speeds can be employed. The cutting speed can reach 800–1200 meters per minute, yet the flank face wears only 0.16 mm. In contrast, when using other cemented carbide tools, the cutting speed is only 6.6 meters per minute—just 1/9 of that achievable with cubic boron nitride tools.
Recommended Cutting Parameters for Machining Workpieces with Cubic Boron Nitride Inserts
By selecting appropriate cutting parameters for cubic boron nitride (CBN) inserts, it is possible to achieve both longer tool life and superior workpiece quality. It is recommended that the wear standard for the flank face of CBN inserts be set at 0.3 to 0.5 mm (taking the lower value for finish turning), and regular regrinding is advised.
